What you will do

• Lead field teams in conducting plant and wildlife habitat assessments and wetland delineations.
• Author and review technical reports and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) 404/10 permit applications.
• Apply regulatory knowledge of the Clean Water Act (CWA) and Endangered Species Act (ESA).
• Develop and maintain client relationships as a trusted technical advisor.
• Mentor and train junior-level staff to support their professional growth.

Requirements

• BS in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Sciences, or a similar field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience leading wildlife habitat assessments and wetland delineations.
• Must be based in Texas (local candidates preferred) and able to travel 30-60%.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass an MVR check.
• Ability to work independently in remote field environments for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Certification as a Certified Wildlife Biologist (CWB) or Professional Wetland Scientist (PWS).
• Specific experience with environmental regulations and species native to Texas.
• Experience with GPS technologies and infrastructure clients.
