Salary: $80,000–$95,000

What you will do
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees across several provinces and manufacturing sites.
- Lead a payroll transformation initiative to modernize, centralize systems, and drive standardization.
- Administer group benefits, retirement programs, and coordinate wellness initiatives with vendors.
- Ensure full compliance with Canadian federal and provincial employment legislation, tax regulations, and labor relations.
- Maintain accurate employee records and generate workforce metrics and KPIs for strategic decision-making.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR services and benefits.
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in HR, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Payroll designation required; CHRP or CHRL is considered an asset.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on payroll experience, including work with third-party providers and unionized environments.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation and statutory deductions.
- Proficiency in SuccessFactors and ADP is required.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
Nice to have
- Experience with Power BI, Payworks, or Ceridian/Dayforce.
- Experience with HR system implementations or upgrades.
