Compensation: OTE $239,000 – $290,000

What you will do
- Lead the global Microsoft alliance, building strategic relationships with Azure and Fabric leadership.
- Execute a multi-year strategy to position dbt and as the default transformation layer within Microsoft's data ecosystem.
- Drive product integration milestones to embed dbt into Microsoft reference architectures and solution patterns.
- Develop and run a global enablement program for Microsoft field teams through labs and joint delivery assets.
- Own the co-sell playbook, including account mapping, Azure Marketplace execution, and MACC drawdown.
- Establish and monitor the global operating model, tracking pipeline contribution and alliance health.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in strategic alliances, enterprise sales, or partner management in cloud or enterprise software.
- Proven expertise managing complex, global relationships with major technology organizations at a senior level.
- Deep understanding of the modern data stack (experience with dbt or is strongly preferred).
- Ability to engage credibly with C-suite executives and knowledge of CSP go-to-market models.
- Strong commercial instincts for identifying and developing joint pipeline opportunities.
- Must be based in the United States.

- Familiarity with AI, agentic workflows, and the data governance landscape.
- Existing professional contacts within Cloud Service Provider (CSP) operating models.
