Hedge Fund Finance - Assistant Vice President (Fintech)

Location: New York, New York, United States; office-based Monday–Thursday with remote work flexibility on Friday

Salary: $110,000–$145,000 per year, plus equity for full-time employees and an annual performance bonus

What you will do

• Service tender offer and interval funds across private equity, hedge fund, and private credit strategies in partnership with third-party administrators.
• Manage fund accounting, investor financial reporting, capital activity, partner capital statements, audited financials, and tax deliverables.
• Build relationships with fund managers, administrators, distributors, custodians, auditors, tax providers, and other counterparties.
• Reconcile internal records with NAV packages, review administrator-prepared financial statements, and monitor cash positions, liquidity, and reserves.
• Design and maintain scalable operating processes, policies, procedures, and reporting, including automation initiatives.
• Coordinate with Investor Relations, Product, Legal, Compliance, Technology, Sales, and Marketing, ensuring compliance with fund documents, SEC requirements, and FINRA requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, statistics, or another business-related field.
• 5+ years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, or finance operations.
• Advanced accounting and Excel skills; experience within an audit framework is preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, multitasking, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
• Interest in applying innovative technology and learning new topics in an evolving business environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with alternative investment funds, including fund-of-funds and feeder funds.
• Private equity or private credit experience.
