Senior Associate, Fund Accounting – Private Markets & Hedge Funds

Location: Dublin, Ohio, United States — hybrid

What you will do

• Prepare and review accounting records, journal entries, financial schedules, and reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and post accounting entries to the general ledger.
• Maintain investor and investment activity records and price fund portfolios.
• Analyze fund performance daily and monthly and issue daily P&L reports.
• Research differences between accounting and trade entry systems.
• Complete month-end close processes and support financial statement preparation and client reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of financial accounting, journal entries, cash transactions, reconciliations, non-cash activity, and investment activity.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and analytical ability with close attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting alternative investment funds, including private equity, private credit, real assets, hedge funds, or similar structures.
• Hedge fund accounting experience and interest in transitioning to private markets.
