Manager, Fund Accounting - Private Markets (CA & GA)

Location: Hybrid in Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Sacramento, California, or Atlanta, Georgia

What you will do

• Oversee teams delivering fund administration services to clients.
• Manage client implementations and onboarding.
• Plan and oversee audited and unaudited financial statements, partner capital statements, and supporting work papers.
• Manage fund audit processes and maintain the Private Equity business reporting calendar.
• Review gains and losses, management fees, investor allocations, investment data, and partner capital allocations.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledgers, sub-ledgers, trial balances, and key business and client metrics.

Requirements

• 9+ years of accounting experience focused on Private Equity or Real Asset funds.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and other comprehensive bases of accounting, with emphasis on investment partnerships.
• Experience with consolidated financial statements and minority interest.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Leadership, training, delegation, work review, client relationship, and project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
