What you will do

• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models, including P&L and scenario modeling, to support strategic decision-making.
• Establish a robust compute measurement and budgeting process for the company's largest cost bucket.
• Lead budgeting and quarterly/annual forecasting processes, translating variances into actionable business insights.
• Partner cross-functionally with engineering, product, and sales leaders to align demand and capacity with financial targets.
• Build business cases for major investments (e.g., capacity expansion, build vs. buy) and quantify ROI for senior leadership.
• Create and monitor executive dashboards focusing on unit economics, cost trends, and capacity utilization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, or consulting within high-growth technology environments.
• Proven expertise in building detailed operating models and conducting complex scenario analyses.
• Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence non-finance leaders.
• Proficiency in SQL, BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker), and advanced Excel/Google Sheets.
• Ability to navigate and scale operations within fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to San Francisco, CA.
