Salary: $172,800–$216,000 base pay per year

What you will do

• Lead and develop the Electrical Wiring team supporting aircraft development and sustaining efforts.
• Support manufacturing needs by defining alternate parts and creating an MRB team with supporting documentation.
• Support technical design reviews for electrical wiring systems.
• Review and approve test reports, bills of materials, drawings, and related engineering documentation.
• Select industry-standard components for specific design applications and requirements.
• Apply industry best practices and guidance for wire harness design and installation, including AC 43.13-1B, AS50881, and ASTM F2639.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience leading multidisciplinary electrical harness design teams in aircraft development and sustaining programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of electrical harness fabrication facilities and certification requirements.
• Strong understanding of 2D and 3D design toolsets and their interoperability, including Mentor Graphics Capital and NX or similar tools.
• Experience managing team performance reviews, individual improvement plans, technical growth, and succession planning.
• Experience building and supporting corporate schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and detailed updates for senior leadership.
