  • Proficiency with CAD tools such as SolidWorks or NX and structural and thermal analysis tools.
  • Hands-on experience building, testing, and debugging hardware in a lab environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, rapidly iterating environment.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with NASA or other spaceflight structural verification standards, environmental testing, and qualification.
  • Experience designing mechanical systems for spaceflight avionics or payloads.
  • Experience with high-density electronics cooling, including conduction, heat pipes, or cold plates.
  • Knowledge of materials and processes for vacuum and radiation environments.

Culture & Benefits

  • Autonomy, ownership, and cross-functional collaboration in a prototype-heavy environment.
  • Competitive salary and equity.
  • Generous paid time off and sick leave.
