What you will do

• Lead and develop a diverse team of engineers to unlock AV production at scale.
• Optimize production processes across a network of component suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Implement lean manufacturing best practices, including Kaizen, FMEA, and Value Stream Mapping.
• Manage major projects including new program launches, facility optimization, and tooling improvements.
• Collaborate with Design and Service teams to drive feedback and technical transfer.
• Work with the quality team to triage and resolve internal and supplier quality issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years of relevant work experience.
• At least 4 years of experience leading an engineering team.
• Expertise in Lean manufacturing principles (Kaizen, visual management, VSM).
• Must be based in Ann Arbor, MI.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Experience with ADAS and low-level actuation in vehicles.
• Proficiency in agile engineering development processes.
• Strong program management and cross-functional communication skills.
