Sr. Manager, Industrial Engineering (Aerospace)

Base pay: $182,500–$228,100 per year

What you will do

• Lead the Industrial Engineering organization across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.
• Build a high-performing team focused on process design, capacity analysis, layout optimization, and lean implementation.
• Develop and improve Manufacturing System Design across planning, design, validation, and production improvement.
• Standardize work instructions, process analysis, material planning, value stream mapping, OEE, capacity studies, and factory layouts.
• Design material-flow systems, kitting strategies, packaging, ergonomics solutions, operator aids, racks, carts, and WIP management systems.
• Use discrete event simulation and digital twins to optimize throughput, resource allocation, factory start-up, and production ramp-up.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, or a related field; Ph.D. preferred.
• 10+ years of industrial engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Deep expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, factory layout, and standardized processes.
• Hands-on experience with time studies, MODAPTS motion analysis, work measurement, discrete event simulation, and plant layout tools.
• Experience with MPP routings, MES integrations, SAP cost models, ergonomics, material presentation, and human-machine interface design.
• Strong communication, organizational, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in the aerospace or EV industry.
• Experience with Siemens Plant Simulation, Siemens Manufacturing Process Planner, EasyPlan, or AutoCAD.
