Sr. Manager, Industrial Engineering (Aerospace)

Salary: $182,500–$228,100 base pay annually

What you will do

• Lead the Industrial Engineering organization across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.
• Build and develop a high-performing team focused on process design, capacity analysis, layout optimization, and lean implementation.
• Own Manufacturing System Design across planning, design, validation, and continuous improvement.
• Standardize industrial engineering methods, including standard work, PFEP, value stream mapping, EPEI, OEE, capacity studies, and material presentation.
• Design plant, warehouse, production-line, kitting, packaging, ergonomics, WIP, and material-flow systems.
• Use discrete event simulation and digital twin modeling to support throughput optimization, new-factory start-up, production ramp-up, and cross-functional improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, or a related field; Ph.D. preferred.
• 10+ years of industrial engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
• Deep expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, factory layouts, standardized processes, time studies, motion analysis, and work measurement.
• Experience with discrete event simulation, plant layout tools, MPP routings, MES integrations, and SAP cost models.
• Strong understanding of ergonomics, material presentation, human-machine interface design, and data-driven performance improvement.

• Experience in aerospace or the EV industry.
• Experience with Siemens Plant Simulation, Siemens Manufacturing Process Planner or EasyPlan, and AutoCAD.
