What you will do

• Perform troubleshooting, servicing, and repair of solar PV systems and associated electrical equipment.
• Execute corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance tasks independently or in crews.
• Conduct routine electrical troubleshooting and instrumentation calibration for power plant systems.
• Prepare and implement switching and clearance orders in coordination with the Operations Center.
• Maintain rigorous safety standards, including JHA, PJB, and LOTO documentation.
• Write plant orders, operating instructions, and technical procedures.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Lancaster, California.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Demonstrable mechanical aptitude and electrical knowledge (experience levels range from trainee to 4+ years for Senior levels).
• Ability to work non-standard hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; the company will not sponsor nonimmigrant visas (H-1B, TN, E-3, etc.).

Nice to have

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent Journeyman certification/qualifications.
