What you will do

• Perform detailed design of electrical power systems, including one-line/three-line diagrams, schematics, wiring, and grounding design.
• Create computer-based models and perform power system studies such as short circuit, load flow, relay coordination, and arc flash analysis.
• Develop protective relay settings and perform installation, wiring, and testing of relaying and control systems.
• Program, install, and test SCADA and PLC systems.
• Prepare project documentation, cost estimates, budget reports, and technical proposals.
• Provide field assistance, troubleshooting, and commissioning services for equipment and relays.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
• 0–5 years of relevant engineering or field experience.
• Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and power system modeling software (EasyPower, ETAP, or SKM).
• Knowledge and familiarity with medium and high voltage power systems.
• FE licensure is preferred.
