What you will do
- Identify and reduce sources of variation, machine faults, and defectivity in CVD tools.
- Define tool maintenance procedures and optimize Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
- Specify, source, and qualify new equipment and spare parts.
- Train technicians and peers on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with peers to implement Best Known Methods (BKM).
- Support development and transfer activities within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- BS or MS in an engineering or science discipline.
- 6+ years of experience in equipment engineering within high-volume semiconductor manufacturing.
- Experience with tools such as Applied Materials Centura DXZ, Producer, P5000, Novellus Concept 2, or WJ-999.
- Ability to analyze equipment performance data and execute timely action plans to resolve failures.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and applying logical isolation to repair equipment.
- Ability to work in a 24x7 manufacturing environment and adjust schedules based on factory priorities.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in Lean Manufacturing methods.
- Knowledge of FMEA and 8D methodologies.
