What you will do

• Monitor and analyze emerging AI policy, regulatory, and legislative developments across the US and key international markets.
• Develop policy positions, white papers, and executive-level recommendations on AI, national security, and digital infrastructure.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with policymakers, government agencies, think tanks, and academic institutions.
• Support executive engagement with Congress, the Executive Branch, and international government stakeholders.
• Partner with technical teams to translate complex AI capabilities into clear, actionable policy narratives.
• Identify opportunities for public-private partnerships to accelerate AI adoption in government and critical industries.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in public policy, government affairs, national security, or technology policy.
• Strong understanding of U.S. government institutions, policymaking processes, and regulatory frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate complex organizations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and communicate them to non-technical audiences.
• Must be based in Washington DC for the hybrid work arrangement.

Nice to have

• Experience working in Congress, the White House, federal agencies, or leading policy institutions.
• Familiarity with federal budgeting cycles.
• Experience with AI, cybersecurity, defense technology, or cloud infrastructure policy.
• History of advising senior government officials or technology executives.
