Lead AI Strategist

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco or New York, with 3+ days per week in-office from Tuesday through Thursday

Salary: $200,000–$250,000 base annually, depending on experience, location, and level, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Advise CIOs, COOs, and executive teams on how AI can reshape business operations and technology strategy.
• Develop a deep understanding of enterprise businesses, identify high-value problems, and frame strategic opportunities in customer language.
• Translate executive discussions into programs, mobilize forward-deployed engineers and researchers, and remain accountable for measurable outcomes.
• Build and expand strategic relationships into multi-year portfolios across business units and budgets.
• Coordinate delivery, product, research, and leadership teams around customer commitments, plans, and decisions.
• Navigate procurement, security, legal, and competing stakeholder priorities while serving as a trusted strategic partner.

Requirements

• Track record as a trusted advisor to CIOs, COOs, and other senior executives at large enterprises.
• 10–15+ years of experience in management consulting, enterprise transformation or operations leadership, or product leadership in enterprise technology.
• Experience delivering strategic agendas with $100M+ value impact, including roadmaps, discovery, scoping, ROI, and funding cases.
• Strong fluency in both technology and business strategy, including architecture and P&L discussions.
• Experience leading large-scale enterprise programs and converting strategic relationships into substantial multi-year initiatives.
• AI-native judgment, experience using frontier AI tools, and the ability to communicate credibly about their business impact.
