What you will do
- Build the sales function for for Brands from the ground up, including strategy, process, tooling, and team.
- Act as a player-coach by personally closing the first few deals while laying the infrastructure for scale.
- Design and iterate on both inbound/inside sales and outbound BDR to AE motions.
- Define and refine the ICP for brands and agencies in close partnership with marketing and product teams.
- Scale the sales team progressively from a lean starting point to multiple layers of AEs and BDRs.
- Implement a modern AI-stack and outbound infrastructure to maximize productivity and pipeline efficiency.
Requirements
- Must be based in New York, New York (Hybrid work model)
- Proven experience leading B2B sales teams from a few reps to a full-scale org in mid-market segments.
- Zero-to-one mindset with experience forged at Series A to Series C companies.
- Genuine comfort being hands-on as a player-coach, closing deals while building systems.
- Experience designing and running both inbound and outbound sales motions.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with marketing, product, and CS.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with the modern AI stack for outbound and agentic BDR systems.
- Experience selling to brand, growth, or influencer marketing personas, or to agencies.
- Exposure to product-led growth (PLG) or self-serve SaaS environments.
