TL;DR

Process Improvement Engineer (Industrial Engineering): Supporting process improvement and implementation initiatives within the Distribution and Configuration Center with an accent on productivity, labor utilization, and waste reduction. Focus on designing production workflows, implementing Lean Six Sigma principles, and coordinating technical procurement.

Location: Wilmington, OH. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)

Salary: $76,500 - $97,920 per year

What you will do

  • Identify, develop, and implement process improvements across Distribution and Configuration Center (TIDC) departments using Lean principles.
  • Design and implement production workflows and process layouts to improve productivity and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Engineering and Lab Operations to create comprehensive work instructions for project deployment.
  • Coordinate technical procurement needs and communicate material requirements to suppliers and internal partners.
  • Manage Engineering Project Requests and provide detailed status reports and project communications.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent combined education and experience.
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • Proven experience applying Lean Six Sigma principles (Kaizen, Gemba, Standard Work, 5S, and Value Stream Mapping).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and advanced Microsoft Office skills (including macro functionality in spreadsheets).
  • Engineering design and fabrication experience within a manufacturing or distribution facility.
  • Strong quantitative analysis and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
