What you will do

• Review and action Airworthiness Directives (AD) to ensure compliance with FAA and ANAC requirements.
• Manage avionics/electrical systems Service Bulletins and technical documents for systems safety and reliability.
• Develop avionics installations, upgrades, and technical data for repairs and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate the management of aircraft voice and datalink applications and Airline Operational Communications software.
• Provide on-site technical support at MRO locations and outstations during AOG situations.
• Obtain regulatory approval for modifications and repairs performed on aircraft systems and components.

Requirements

• 4-year Engineering degree with Avionics/Electrical Systems concentration.
• 7+ years of engineering experience in aircraft avionics and electrical systems modification and repair.
• Proficiency with ARINC-429, ARINC-717 data bus and working knowledge of IP security.
• Working knowledge of 14 CFR Part 21, 25, 91, and 121 regulatory requirements.
• 2+ years of experience working in a Part 121 environment.
• Ability to travel internationally.

Nice to have

• FAA DER in Electrical systems.
• Valid Airframe and/or Powerplant License.
• Experience with AutoCAD drawing systems.
• Specialized training in Embraer and Airbus systems.
