TL;DR

Salary: $118,000 – $170,000

What you will do

  • Drive system-level design, testing, and integration of avionics hardware including computing, sensing, and power systems.
  • Implement electrical system designs that meet rigorous system-level and certification requirements.
  • Own multiple components such as IMUs, air data computers, and batteries throughout their lifecycle.
  • Collaborate across engineering teams to incorporate requirements across the hardware/software stack.
  • Manage the installation, verification, and certification of electrical components at the aircraft level.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. person or otherwise permitted to access export-controlled technology.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with electrical system development, integration, or testing.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, identify root causes, and resolve issues in safety-critical environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience integrating complex electronic sensors, actuators, and wiring into vehicle-level systems.
  • Proficiency in designing and building aerospace wiring harnesses using ECAD tools like E3, VeSys, or IGE+XAO.
