Location: Onsite in Owego, NY. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Secret-level government security clearance.
Salary: $109,200 - $192,510

What you will do
- Lead the design and development of navigation architectures including GNSS, INS, and Sensor Fusion (Kalman filtering, Bayesian methods).
- Coordinate with cross-functional software, supplier, and program management teams to align technical solutions with program goals.
- Capture, trace, and verify system requirements using DOORS, ensuring compliance with MIL-STD and customer specifications.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve software and system-level defects to maintain mission readiness and reliability.
- Guide multidisciplinary teams in developing groundbreaking solutions for defense and mission-critical systems.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required for the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret-level security clearance.
- Experience with navigation systems such as EGI, GPS, RNP/RNAV, Terrain Avoidance, Radio Nav, and/or Traffic Collision Avoidance.
- Broad systems engineering experience in architecture, design, documentation, and verification.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Systems, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM discipline.
- Proven experience integrating and testing hardware and software.
Nice to have
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools like SysML or Cameo.
- Proficiency with MATLAB, MIL-STD-1553, and ARINC-429.
- Broad understanding of RF principles and antenna design.
- Knowledge of civil certification regulations (RTCA, FAA, ICAO).
- Current active Secret security clearance.
