What you will do
- Design and maintain core systems to ensure reliable and high-performing simulator operation.
- Modernize legacy simulator systems through enhancements, new features, and optimized stability.
- Collaborate with software and hardware teams to integrate system components into real-time training devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical system issues across both modern and legacy platforms.
- Support system reviews and cross-functional innovation for next-generation training capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Electrical, Computer, Aerospace, or a related engineering field.
- 5+ years of systems engineering experience in the defense domain (e.g., mission systems, C4ISR, EW, avionics, or sensors).
- Must be a U.S. citizen due to government contract requirements.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and Special Program Access.
- Flexibility to support occasional overtime, shift work, and CONUS travel.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of network and platform interfaces such as Ethernet/TCP/IP, MIL-STD-1553, and ARINC 429/664.
- Experience with Electronic Warfare, radar/EO/IR sensors, or signal processing/DSP.
- Experience working in Waterfall and/or Agile/Scrum environments.
