Salary: $118,300–$138,000

What you will do

• Design and maintain core systems to ensure reliable and high-performing simulator operation.
• Modernize legacy simulator systems through enhancements, new features, and optimized stability.
• Collaborate with software and hardware teams to integrate system components into real-time training devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical system issues across both modern and legacy platforms.
• Support system reviews and cross-functional innovation for next-generation training capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Electrical, Computer, Aerospace, or a related engineering field.
• 5+ years of systems engineering experience in the defense domain (e.g., mission systems, C4ISR, EW, avionics, or sensors).
• Must be a U.S. citizen due to government contract requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and Special Program Access.
• Flexibility to support occasional overtime, shift work, and CONUS travel.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of network and platform interfaces such as Ethernet/TCP/IP, MIL-STD-1553, and ARINC 429/664.
• Experience with Electronic Warfare, radar/EO/IR sensors, or signal processing/DSP.
• Experience working in Waterfall and/or Agile/Scrum environments.
