What you will do

• Investigate and resolve automobile liability, property damage, and bodily injury claims.
• Manage a caseload of 150–175 claims arising from transit operations.
• Analyze coverage, liability, and damages to determine resolution strategies.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and vendors.
• Coordinate with defense counsel for litigation management.
• Maintain accurate claim documentation and adjust reserves.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of claims experience, or High School diploma with 4+ years of experience.
• Experience handling liability claims with reserves of $25,000 or greater.
• Strong knowledge of automobile liability and bodily injury settlement practices.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Baltimore, MD.
• Proficiency in claims management systems and Microsoft Office.
