Property Field Claims Specialist (Insurance) - AZ - Remote

Location: Remote within the United States, serving the Arizona territory. Must reside in the nearby area or be willing to relocate at personal expense; no relocation assistance is offered. Approximately 75% of working time involves driving within the territory.

Salary: USD $83,000–$108,000 per year.

What you will do

• Handle property and inland marine claims for the assigned region, with occasional support for other regions.
• Investigate claims, assess property damage, obtain documentation, and prepare accurate estimates.
• Evaluate and settle primarily $25,000–$100,000 claims, including occasional higher-value losses and Business Income claims.
• Determine coverage, negotiate settlements, set reserves, and act within established authority.
• Serve as an initial responder for catastrophe claim events as part of the corporate catastrophe team.
• Provide estimating and coverage support and respond to legal, regulatory, and appeals matters.

Requirements

• Must be based near the Arizona territory or be willing to relocate at personal expense.
• Valid state-issued driver's license in good standing and ability to drive an automobile are required.
• Ability to work varying shifts.
• Proficiency with standard business and claims-specific software and efficient keyboarding skills.
• Five years of claims experience preferred, with knowledge of Commercial and Personal Lines coverages and computer-based damage estimating.
• College degree preferred.
