What you will do

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans across France and Italy to exceed annual revenue targets and maximize profitability.
  • Cultivate deep, sustainable relationships with key accounts to ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term value.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and tailor solutions from the product portfolio to unlock new growth opportunities.
  • Gather competitive intelligence and identify market trends to shape the overall commercial strategy.
  • Collaborate with editorial, marketing, credit control, and technical teams to provide outstanding service.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales, consistently meeting or exceeding targets and managing accounts independently.
  • Knowledge of the scholarly ecosystem, academic publishing, library sales, or institutional purchasing.
  • Business-level fluency in English and French (Italian is a strong advantage).
  • Strong knowledge of the Higher Education market in France.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally across the assigned territory.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems for pipeline management.
