What you will do

• Develop deposition processes and process customer wafers using PVD demo equipment at the Newport factory.
• Generate new process recipes to meet customer requirements and perform hardware testing.
• Supervise junior engineers, write technical reports, and generate IP submissions.
• Advise field teams and internal members on application development and process tuning.
• Coordinate project management tasks across different engineering teams.
• Perform process demonstrations and analyze results using analytical equipment and software.

Requirements

• Degree, Master's, or PhD in chemistry, physics, or a relevant field.
• Industry experience working with semiconductor processing equipment and substrate metrology.
• Must be based in the Manufacturing Headquarters in Newport, South Wales.
• Ability to work continuous shift work alternating between early (6am–2pm) and late (1.30pm–9.30pm) shifts.
• Proficiency in measuring films for thickness, resistance, stress, texture, roughness, reflectivity, and X-section.
