TL;DR
Internship – Electrical Design Engineering Containerized Power Plants (EPLAN): Designing and documenting electrical installations, harnesses, and cabling systems for containerized power plants with an accent on 3D planning, EPLAN Harness ProD, and modular installation concepts. Focus on routing cables within complex plant layouts, coordinating component placement with adjacent engineering disciplines, and preparing accurate technical documentation.

Location: Jenbach, Austria

Salary: At least EUR 2,698.59 gross per month, paid 14 times per year

What you will do

  • Plan and design electrical installations for containerized power plants in 3D.
  • Create and maintain harness and cabling layouts using EPLAN Harness ProD.
  • Prepare and update electrical drawings, installation documentation, technical specifications, and parts lists.
  • Coordinate component placement, cable routing, and installation feasibility with mechanical design, controls, project engineering, and manufacturing.
  • Participate in design reviews and technical discussions with experienced engineers.
  • Contribute to practical, efficient, and standardized electrical installation concepts.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, energy engineering, or a related field.
  • First experience in electrical design, installation engineering, or a comparable technical field.
  • Initial experience with EPLAN P8 or a similar E-CAD tool is required.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems, technical drawings, and engineering documentation.
  • Structured and proactive working style, willingness to learn, and strong teamwork skills.
  • Good English skills and legal work authorization for Austria are required. Non-EU citizens must attach the authorization form.
