Quality Engineer (m/f/d) for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)

Location: Graz, Styria, Austria; office-based

Salary: €4,354.45 gross per month minimum, with market-competitive compensation based on qualifications and experience

What you will do

• Create, revise, and approve NDT inspection and procedural instructions.
• Act as the point of contact for NDT topics and manage qualification and certification processes.
• Define surface and volumetric inspection techniques and plan and execute inspections against contractual and applicable standards.
• Coordinate quality activities with customers, local quality organizations, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Plan and perform supplier inspections and ensure project activities meet quality requirements.
• Prepare, review, and approve project quality documentation and procedures for NDT activities.

Requirements

• Completed technical education in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field.
• Professional experience in quality-related project environments, preferably in mechanical and plant engineering.
• NDT certification in VT, MT, PT, UT, or RT at Level II or III according to EN ISO 9712 or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience with welded, forged, and cast components.
• Basic German and very good English skills required.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, strong communication skills, resilience, teamwork, and willingness to travel approximately 60%.

Nice to have

• Experience with SNT-TC-1A.
• SAP knowledge.
