Manager Issue Resolution - Packaging

Location: Vienna, Austria; Hochheim, Germany; Glattbrugg, Switzerland; Rubiera, Italy; Lund, Sweden; other hirify.global locations within Europe may be considered, including a home-based arrangement where appropriate. Applicants must already have the right to work in the proposed country. International relocation to Europe is not available.

What you will do

• Lead containment, root cause analysis, corrective action, and closure of complex packaging technical issues and incidents.
• Establish and coordinate cross-functional resolution teams, technical resources, action plans, and priorities.
• Identify issue expansion risks and coordinate existing or newly developed solutions.
• Maintain communication with customers, market leadership, account teams, and technical stakeholders.
• Govern the market portfolio of packaging issues, including ownership, progress reviews, cost-of-poor-quality categorization, and performance reporting.
• Drive Service Desk adoption, issue visibility, data quality, process compliance, and deployment of lessons learned.

Requirements

• At least five years of relevant experience with hirify.global or comparable packaging equipment, packaging materials, technical service, or issue resolution.
• Experience leading complex technical investigations and structured root cause analysis.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams without formal reporting authority.
• Strong project coordination, prioritization, stakeholder management, and customer communication skills.
• Professional proficiency in English and the right to work in the proposed country of employment are required.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time, occasionally at short notice.

Nice to have

• Professional proficiency in German.
• Certification in hirify.global Problem Solving Methodology, Kepner-Tregoe, World Class Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Lean, or another recognized methodology.
• Experience with technical issue management systems, problem-solving workshops, or developing technical capability in others.
