What you will do
- Own end-to-end compliance with Philippine statutory employer obligations, including SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR.
- Manage all BIR employer obligations, including alphalist submissions, tax remittances, and Form 2316 preparation.
- Administer DOLE mandatory benefits, offboarding compliance, and final pay calculations within mandated windows.
- Monitor regulatory changes and proactively update internal processes and payroll inputs.
- Prepare for and manage DOLE, BIR, and agency audits as the primary point of contact.
- Partner with Finance and payroll to ensure statutory data flows correctly into HiBob and Deel.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Philippine statutory compliance as an employer.
- Deep working knowledge of BIR employer obligations and eFPS/eBIRForms portal management.
- Strong understanding of the Philippine Labor Code and DOLE requirements.
- Experience building and improving compliance processes within a scaling business.
- Meticulous attention to detail with numerical reconciliation and filing accuracy.
- Must be based in Manila to support the hybrid work arrangement.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with the Philippine Data Privacy Act (NPC registration, privacy notices).
- Experience documenting compliance processes and upskilling team colleagues.
