What you will do
- Define and maintain the programme-level test strategy, including scope, approach, and quality gates.
- Establish and manage integrated test plans across SIT, UAT, OAT, NFT, performance, and security phases.
- Provide active oversight and assurance of third-party test delivery to ensure quality standards.
- Own defect management governance, including triage, prioritisation, and root cause analysis.
- Deliver evidence-led reporting and go-live readiness recommendations to executive governance.
Requirements
- Proven track record of leading end-to-end testing across complex, multi-vendor transformation programmes.
- Significant experience in test management leadership within a regulated financial services environment.
- Proficiency with enterprise test management tools such as Jira (Xray/Zephyr), Azure DevOps, or ALM.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD and automation tools like Selenium, Postman, and Jenkins.
- Must be based in the UK (England or Scotland).
Nice to have
- ISTQB Advanced Level – Test Management certification.
- Programme or delivery certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile/Scrum.
- Experience with QA automation platforms like Tricentis, qTest, or Katalon.
- ITIL or Six Sigma certifications.
