Automated QA Tester

TL;DR

Automated QA Tester (Java/Selenium): Building and maintaining automated test suites for enterprise-grade web and mobile applications with an accent on functional and non-functional testing. Focus on developing regression suites using Selenium WebDriver and RestAssured within a mature Agile environment.

Location: Must be based in the UK, with a preference for Midlands-based candidates for a hybrid model (2 days in office, 3 days remote) or remote workers willing to travel to the Midlands occasionally.

What you will do

• Create, develop, and improve automation suites for various projects.
• Develop automated tests within frameworks using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues.
• Write and execute test scripts and regression suites.
• Accurately record and track issues using bug tracking applications.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK and willing to travel to the Midlands occasionally.
• Proven experience in QA testing for web-based applications.
• Strong proficiency in Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• Experience with automated API testing using RestAssured.
• Familiarity with BDD (Behaviour Driven Development), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong experience with bug tracking and reporting tools.
