Head of People Operations (SaaS): Building and running a distributed hub model to deliver an excellent people experience across multiple global locations with an accent on operational execution, autonomy, and AI-native automation. Focus on managing distributed hub teams, coordinating multi-country employment frameworks, and integrating AI into HR infrastructure.

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands. Hybrid work is available, and relocation support is provided for the employee and their family.

What you will do

  • Lead and execute the People Operations hub model across the Netherlands, Spain, Armenia, US, Brazil, and Remote hubs.
  • Manage and develop People Operations Partners to ensure autonomous, high-quality local execution of the full employee lifecycle.
  • Partner with domain leads in Payroll, Compliance, People Tech, and Rewards to maintain global standards and operational accuracy.
  • Implement AI-native operations by automating repeatable tasks, employee queries, and onboarding workflows.
  • Oversee multi-country compliance, visa support, and office facilities management in coordination with global standards.
  • Define and track success through an OKR cascade for each hub location.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in People/HR Operations leadership within multinational environments.
  • Proven track record of building and managing distributed operating models in fast-scaling SaaS or startup environments.
  • Experience with organizational change management and transitions handled with operational rigor.
  • Strong systems thinking and an AI-native operating instinct to automate HR processes.
  • Ability to manage employment frameworks and compliance across the US, EU, Brazil, and Armenia.
  • Executive presence and ability to partner effectively with senior leadership.
