TL;DR

Location: Fully remote (Must be based in the US)

What you will do

  • Oversee daily administration of health, welfare, and retirement programs including 401k, HSA, and FSA.
  • Serve as the primary HRIS administrator to ensure data integrity and streamline operational workflows.
  • Develop people analytics dashboards to track headcount, turnover, and benefits utilization.
  • Manage relationships with brokers, carriers, and vendors for plan renewals and performance reviews.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and goal-setting for the People Operations team.
  • Conduct market pricing and benchmarks to maintain competitive compensation.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in Benefits and People Operations.
  • 5+ years of experience specifically overseeing employee benefit programs.
  • Proven experience managing self-funded medical plans and vendor relationships.
  • Prior leadership experience acting as both a player and a coach.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and employee data management.
  • Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Rippling or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Experience supporting a multi-state workforce.
  • CEBS, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
  • Experience in SaaS or high-growth technology organizations.
