What you will do

• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB.
• Lead the successful transition and insourcing of accounting activities for the German entity.
• Manage payment transactions and ensure VAT compliance in collaboration with external tax advisors.
• Oversee multi-entity accounting and the consolidation of three separate entities.
• Evaluate and optimize existing accounting processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with international stakeholders and advisors in both German and English.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in financial accounting.
• Strong knowledge of HGB and German tax regulations.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and consolidation processes.
• Structured, reliable, and independent approach to work with high attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IFRS.
• Experience with DATEV Unternehmen Online.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience in a digital, international, or fast-growing business environment.
• Proven track record in leading accounting insourcing projects.
