Engineering Manager

TL;DR

Engineering Manager (Engineering): Leading feature teams to build scalable product experiences and shipping integrations with an accent on team performance, engineering quality, and operational excellence. Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Eindhoven, Netherlands (Hybrid: 3+ days/week in office)

Salary: From €90,000 gross annually (inclusive of 8% holiday pay)

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers through regular 1:1s, performance management, and career development.
• Own end-to-end delivery for feature teams, managing scope, risks, and blockers to ensure predictable execution.
• Partner with Product and Design to define team goals, strategy, and priorities.
• Guide technical direction, architecture, and engineering standards in collaboration with senior engineers.
• Ensure operational excellence, including observability, incident management, and security practices.
• Manage hiring, onboarding, and retention to build high-performing engineering teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering or leadership, with at least 3 years in Engineering Management.
• Proven experience managing teams of 10+ people in an organization with 50+ engineers.
• Strong background in software engineering and product development with technical depth.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with hiring, performance management, and career development.
• Experience driving delivery in Agile or iterative product development environments.
