What you will do

• Build and scale a high-performing team of data, analytics, and platform engineers.
• Manage daily engineering operations, including sprint delivery, capacity planning, and technical quality.
• Lead technical design reviews and architectural decisions aligned with medallion data architecture.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards for CI/CD, code reviews, and incident management.
• Collaborate with the SVP on hiring, vendor relationships, and strategic planning.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to translate business requirements into technical scope and manage dependencies.

Requirements

• Must be based in the Netherlands.
• 5-8+ years of experience in data, analytics, or platform engineering roles.
• 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams, including hiring and performance management.
• Hands-on experience with modern data stacks, specifically cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred).
• Proven track record of delivering complex data platform initiatives like migrations or greenfield builds.
• Experience operating in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments.
