Tech Lead - Tech4Dev AI Hub (AI)

Location: Utrecht, Netherlands, with a hybrid work arrangement. Candidates must be located in the Netherlands and have the legal right to work there; relocation from another country is not considered.

Salary: €5,994–€8,563 gross per month for a 36-hour work week, plus a thirteenth month, 8% holiday allowance, and a 10% Employee Benefit Budget.

What you will do

• Lead the delivery and evolution of AI-driven engineering capabilities across the software development lifecycle.
• Manage multiple multidisciplinary DevOps squads with approximately 30–40 engineers and specialists.
• Build reusable capabilities for code generation, testing, code review, deployment, and operations.
• Turn GenAI and agent-based prototypes into scalable, production-ready engineering services.
• Ensure 24/7 IT delivery, continuity, performance, security, compliance, and operational control.
• Drive adoption, standardisation, stakeholder alignment, budgeting, sourcing, and team development.

Requirements

• Academic working and thinking level.
• 5–10+ years of experience in complex IT environments.
• Experience with DevOps, Agile, and large-scale engineering environments.
• Strong leadership across people, process, and technology, including hiring, coaching, and capability building.
• Affinity with AI, GenAI, or advanced automation in software development.
• Located in the Netherlands with the legal right to work in the Netherlands; relocation from another country is not supported.
