TL;DR

Sales Manager (Automation): Driving direct sales and partner-led business growth for industrial automation systems in the APAC region with an accent on DCS solutions and long-cycle industrial sales. Focus on building key customer relationships, recruiting and enabling channel partners, and executing territory strategies across Chinese-speaking markets.

Location: Must be based in Taiwan with travel across the APAC region.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for key accounts in Taiwan and Chinese-speaking markets.
  • Identify, recruit, and manage partners including system integrators and distributors.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to contract negotiation.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and influencers.
  • Collaborate with internal delivery and engineering teams to support project execution.
  • Analyze market trends to identify and capture new growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in automation, electrical engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in industrial sales, specifically in automation, DCS, or control systems.
  • Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and strong business English skills.
  • Willingness to travel across the APAC region as needed.
  • Strong understanding of solution-based selling and managing long sales cycles.
  • Ability to operate effectively in an international matrix organization.
