What you will do

• Develop and implement sales strategies for eBooks and journals to achieve and exceed annual revenue and profit targets.
• Conduct strategic sales visits to academic institutions, libraries, and digital content aggregators in Singapore.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including library consortia and online content platforms.
• Analyze eBook and journal market dynamics and competitor activities to identify new digital sales channels.
• Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to optimize licensing models and pricing strategies.
• Lead and mentor Sales Associates and Executives to foster a high-performance culture of accountability and growth.

Requirements

• Extensive sales experience, preferably within the academic publishing industry.
• Demonstrated success in eBook and digital journal sales with comprehensive knowledge of digital licensing models.
• Must have the right to work and live in Singapore.
• Proficiency in English for global interactions with strong persuasive communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in-person in the Singapore office at least 3 days per week.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to synthesize complex data and resolve issues.
