Accountant

TL;DR

Accountant (Finance): Supporting the Order to Cash (OTC) accounting team by managing month-end close processes and ensuring financial accuracy. Focus on leveraging automation and AI tools to streamline reporting, performing reconciliations, and maintaining compliance with internal controls.

Location: Must be based in Mandaluyong City, Philippines (Hybrid: in-office expectation of at least 50% of the time).

What you will do

• Support the month-end close process by creating journal entries and analyzing financial trends.
• Perform daily and monthly reconciliations to resolve transaction exceptions.
• Collaborate with business partners to ensure accurate accounting for accruals and new initiatives.
• Leverage automation and AI tools to improve documentation and reporting efficiency.
• Ensure internal controls and procedures are documented and followed in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives to enhance accounting systems and reporting infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 1+ years of professional accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals.
• Experience analyzing large data sets using Excel and Alteryx.
• Strong alignment to hirify.global's mission and values.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or public accounting experience.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
