RTR Financial Accountant

RTR Financial Accountant (Finance): Managing end-to-end Record-to-Report processes, including complex journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting with an accent on maintaining general ledger integrity and compliance. Focus on driving continuous process improvements and providing expert accounting support to cross-functional business partners within a large-scale shared service environment.

Location: Must be based in Manila, Philippines (Onsite)

What you will do

• Execute closing, reporting, and reconciliation activities to ensure the integrity of general ledger balances.
• Prepare and post intermediate to complex manual journal entries in the ERP system.
• Perform high-risk account reconciliations and develop action plans for reconciling items.
• Submit periodic financial and regulatory reports for statutory and management requirements.
• Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure process accuracy.
• Provide accounting support to local business partners and non-finance departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• 3–4 years of experience in a finance environment within a large corporate organization.
• Proven experience in a Shared Service Center, BPO, or offshore migration setup.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Amenable to working on a mid-shift schedule.
