Legal Intern (AI)

Location: Must be based in San Francisco, CA (On-site)

Compensation: $50 – $65 per hour

What you will do

• Conduct first-pass reviews of commercial contracts, including NDAs, BAAs, and DPAs.
• Research and analyze emerging global AI regulations and draft internal governance policies.
• Assist with privacy and data compliance efforts, including GDPR, CCPA, and BIPA.
• Support intellectual property workflows, including copyright and open-source compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate legal risks and provide practical recommendations.

Requirements

• Must be a rising 3L student at an ABA-accredited law school (graduating in 2027).
• Must be able to work onsite in San Francisco for 15 hours per week during Fall 2026.
• Proven experience in legal writing, including memos and contract summaries.
• Ability to manage research projects from intake to actionable work product.
• Proficiency with AI tools, Google Workspace, and legal research platforms.
