What you will do

• Create standardized templates, playbooks, and guidelines for product contract terms to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Manage intellectual property risks across the product portfolio, including OSS compliance and third-party software integration.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks throughout the product lifecycle, coordinating with regulatory and commercial counsel.
• Lead legal input for product launches in collaboration with internal and external counsel.
• Partner with product managers and engineers to provide early legal guidance on design, features, and market strategy.
• Monitor technology regulations and assess their impact on product development and commercialization.

Requirements

• 7+ years of legal experience, with significant in-house or law firm experience in technology transactions and product counseling.
• Qualified as a lawyer with admission to practice in the US, Canada, UK, or EU.
• Proven expertise in technology contracts, IP law, and commercial agreements.
• Experience advising enterprise software companies on SaaS, Cloud, and On-prem deployment models.
• Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, platforms, and software development lifecycles.
• Must be based in the United States.
