What you will do

• Develop and execute a multi-year IT strategy covering technology refresh cycles, security investments, and infrastructure growth.
• Build and lead the corporate IT team, defining career paths and fostering a strong technical culture.
• Manage corporate infrastructure including networks, identity management, device management, and cloud platforms.
• Ensure security and compliance across the organization, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards.
• Oversee vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and IT budget planning.
• Partner cross-functionally with People Operations and Infrastructure Engineering to align IT systems with business needs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of IT infrastructure and operations experience, with 5+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Demonstrated expertise in IT service management, security frameworks, and compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Strong technical foundation in network administration, systems engineering, identity management, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Proven success in scaling IT operations, hiring teams from the ground up, and managing IT budgets.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical risks and tradeoffs for executive leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience building IT functions from scratch at growth-stage technology companies.
• Familiarity with hardware infrastructure, networking protocols (RDMA), or data center operations.
• Background in export control compliance or international regulatory requirements.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, or DevOps practices.
