Salary: $205,000 - $230,000 USD

What you will do
- Lead and mentor a mature team of senior and principal engineers, fostering an environment of high performance and autonomy.
- Drive the roadmap for the Internal Developer Platform, balancing short-term operational needs with long-term architectural investments.
- Evolve CI/CD systems and deployment workflows to ensure fast, reliable, and secure software delivery.
- Advance Infrastructure as Code and GitOps initiatives to reduce operational burden and improve consistency.
- Partner with application and security teams to prioritize platform investments that directly improve developer productivity.
- Maintain technical engagement by contributing to code and architectural decisions while managing senior individual contributors.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States.
- 2–10+ years of engineering management experience, with proven success managing senior and principal-level talent.
- Deep background in platform engineering, SRE, or DevOps with strong Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure expertise.
- Experience building and operating Internal Developer Platforms or similar productivity tooling.
- Strong understanding of incident management, SLOs, observability, and operational excellence.
- Familiarity with GitHub/GitLab administration and modern CI/CD workflows.
