What you will do

• Lead a senior team of infrastructure engineers, providing technical guidance, career support, and execution leadership.
• Own the technical roadmap, specifically cell-based architecture and AI-assisted deployment tooling.
• Ensure AWS environments are secure, cost-efficient, and production-ready across IAM, networking, and encryption.
• Drive developer experience improvements across CI/CD, observability, and platform tooling.
• Manage operational excellence, including capacity planning, incident management, and on-call health.
• Collaborate with Product Security, Analytics Engineering, and AI Enablement teams.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of hands-on AWS experience with compute (EC2, Lambda), databases (RDS, DynamoDB), IAM, and networking.
• 2–3 years of experience managing infrastructure, platform, or SRE engineers.
• Strong command of Terraform for IaC and GitHub Actions for deployment pipelines.
• Background in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
• Experience in fintech or regulated industries handling sensitive consumer/financial data.
• Must be based in Austin, Chicago, DC, or NYC.
