Engineering Manager (Developer Platform)

What you will do

• Lead and grow the Developer Platform team through 1:1s, career development, and proactive hiring.
• Own delivery via 6-week planning cycles, managing scope and removing blockers to ensure predictability.
• Act as the de facto product owner for the Developer Platform, prioritizing the roadmap based on developer impact.
• Partner with Staff Engineers to define the technical direction of CI/CD, the Internal Developer Platform (IDP), and tooling.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Platform and Product Engineering to drive the adoption of platform standards.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure, platform, or software engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience leading teams as an Engineering Manager, Team Lead, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, or developer tooling.
• Fluency in Agile methodologies and experience running team ceremonies.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid from Eindhoven, Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Experience in a SaaS scale-up or fast-growth engineering organization.
• Hands-on exposure to GitLab CI, Argo CD, or Terraform.
• Background managing multi-discipline teams (backend, DevOps, tooling, QA).
• Familiarity with DORA metrics or the SPACE framework.
