Salary: $185,760 – $334,320 (varies by location)

What you will do

• Drive financial outcomes through signings, revenue targets, and margin management.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to SLED clients, navigating complex technology and operational challenges.
• Lead C-level client interactions and oversee the delivery of complex consulting engagements.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities, including RFPs and cooperative purchasing vehicles.
• Foster a culture of continuous development and innovation within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Align client engagements with hirify.global’s strategic vision and contribute to intellectual capital.

Requirements

• Must be based in Illinois with the ability to work in a hybrid capacity.
• Proven track record in a sales or leadership role within SLED (State, Local, and Education) organizations.
• Deep understanding of government procurement regulations, public contracting law, and vendor compliance.
• Experience with IT Professional Services and Cloud migration projects.
• Demonstrable ability to build and commercialize relationships with senior executives.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing high-value business development cycles.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in a government agency, public school district, or university system.
• Knowledge of digital equity initiatives, smart city programs, or government modernization.
• Existing professional relationships within Illinois state agencies or municipalities.
