What you will do

• Design and build end-to-end quality systems: framework, tooling, and processes that let teams ship with confidence.
• Own and guide multiple testing layers (unit, integration, E2E, load/performance, security, chaos) by setting the vision and guardrails.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD to enable continuous testing and fast feedback from commit to production.
• Drive performance and load testing: design and execute load tests, build dashboards, and establish ongoing monitoring.
• Monitor test results and failures: diagnose root causes, track defects, and improve failure/signal quality over time.
• Champion contract and chaos/resilience testing and facilitate continuous process improvement for testing tools and reporting.

Requirements

• Location: US Remote
• Systems thinking about quality; ability to treat testing as an engineering discipline with reliable, maintainable layered systems.
• Broad testing expertise across functional, integration, contract, performance/load, chaos, and security testing (not necessarily deep ownership of every layer).
• Technical depth: can read and write code fluently; experience with object-oriented languages such as C#, Java, or Python is a strong plus.
• Performance/load testing experience including instrumentation, dashboards, and monitoring performance trends.
• CI/CD and DevOps fluency integrating test automation into pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Teamcity, Jenkins) plus strong Git/code hygiene.

Nice to have

• Experience with API and contract testing across service boundaries and third-party APIs.
• SQL experience (PostgreSQL and/or MS-SQL preferred) for validating backend state and debugging data-layer issues.
• AI tooling proficiency used to automate workflows and improve team processes.
